NBC Indonesia held a Mining Forum with the theme “Mining For Better Tomorrow” to review the steps of the mining sector to encourage decarbonization towards Net Zero Emission 2060 through the concept of green mining.
Director of Coal Business Guidance at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Lana Saria in this Mining forum said Law No. 3/2020 on mineral and coal mining is in line with the government’s steps towards net zero emission by 2060. Where IUP holders are required to apply good mining practices, including those related to environmental monitoring and conservation. Minerba and mine waste management must comply with quality standards.
