ExxonMobil announced Irtiza Sayyed as president of ExxonMobil Indonesia, effective December 1, 2020. Irtiza will be located in Jakarta.
Prior to this appointment, Irtiza was president of ExxonMobil LNG Market Development Inc.domiciled in Singapore.”It is a privilege to lead the ExxonMobil team in Indonesia and build on the achievements that Ms. Melanie and her predecessors have made,” said Irtiza.
Irtiza continued, “We hope to continue ExxonMobil’s strategic partnership with the Government of Indonesia, business partners, customers and the public in generating energy to help stimulate Indonesia’s economic growth,” he explained.
Irtiza joined ExxonMobil in 2006 in Houston, Texas, and throughout his career with Exxon Mobil Corporation, he has held various management positions in a number of natural gas marketing and business development organizations with portfolios covering the Americas, Europe, Russia, Caspia, Middle East and Asia Pacific.Irtiza is also experienced in holding senior positions in corporate finance, strategic planning, and refining.Prior to joining ExxonMobil, he worked in the banking and industrial healthcare sectors.Irtiza replaces Melanie Cook who chose to retire early for family reasons.
