PT Samindo Resources Tbk (MYOH) will distribute dividends for the 2020 financial year of US$ 15 million or equivalent to Rp 213 billion. The dividend will be distributed to shareholders in July. Samindo Resources management in an official statement, Monday (31/5), stated that the corporate action was approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on May 28, 2021. The AGMS determines the distribution of cash dividends of Rp. US$ 15 million or if it is converted into Rp. 213 billion. The dividend to be paid is US$ 0.0068 per share, explained the management. To note, the cash dividend came from the company’s net profit for the financial year ending December 31, 2020, amounting to US$ 22.53 million or equivalent to Rp 321.29 billion. While the remaining US$ 7.53 million is set as part of retained earnings.
According to the schedule, cum and ex dividends in the regular and negotiated markets will be held on 8-9 June 2021, while cum and ex dividends in the cash market will be held on 10-11 June 2021. Cash dividend payments will be made on 2 July 2021. Meanwhile, Samindo Resources recorded a revenue decline of 19.27 percent to US$ 39.89 million in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the first quarter of 2020 of US$ 49.41 million. The cost of revenue earned was US$ 29.8 million, as a result the company’s gross profit was recorded at US$ 10.08 million.
Profit before income tax was recorded at US$ 7.41 million, from the previous loss in the first quarter of 2020 which was recorded at US$ 1.79 million. Meanwhile, the profit attributable to the owners of the parent company was US$ 5.74 million from a loss of US$ 2.4 million. Meanwhile, the company’s total assets as of March 31, 2021 reached US$ 154 million, up 3.21 percent from December 31, 2020, which was US$ 150 million. Meanwhile, liabilities were US$ 21.24 million, down 3.7% from Rp 22.06 million and total equity was up 3.59% to US$ 133 million from US$ 129 million.
